Process and Quality Improvement - Continuous Improvement

Continuous Improvement – We will outline how our CI process works and how this has benefited the organisation. Topics covered will include 5S, using daily KPIs to generate improvement opportunity, Use of CI in Quality improvement, shop floor improvement processes and how we use lean six sigma for larger projects. As we are still developing this field we will discuss future plans for improving the process.

Process and Quality Improvement - Theory of Constraints

Theory of Constraints – We have experienced radical improvement since introducing a production control system based on the Theory of Constraints as explained in ‘The Goal’. Utilising these concepts we have reduced shop floor WIP, provided control for sequencing jobs, increased capacity and visibility and enabled improved target setting. You will hear our story from the initial motivation for the change to implementation and some detail on the process itself.
